Havoline Extra SAE 15W-40 is a high performance, higherash semi-synthetic passenger car engine oil designed to meet ACEA A3/B4 specifications, and critical original equipment manufacturers (OEM) requirements.

With a premium base oil formulation in combination with a latest generation viscosity index (VI) improver, Havoline Extra SAE 15W-40 offers optimum wide temperature engine protection.

Applications

  • Both diesel and gasoline passenger cars requiring the latest ACEA A3/B4 and A3/B3 requirements or API SN
  • Can also be used where oils are recommended meeting the former API SM/SL/SJ/SH/SG
  • Year-round use in high performance gasoline passenger car engines and light van diesel engines without diesel particulate filter (DPF). For severe operating conditions where extended drain intervals are specified by the manufacturers
  • Recommended for VW gasoline engines built until August 1999
  • Recommended for VW IDI diesel engines without pump injectors and without diesel particulate filters (DPF)
